[Blog Pro] Getting started with Blog Pro (1/7)
Most times when we write an article, we use it as a way to get traffic, which we'd later convert to paying customers.
To do that, we need our articles to be SEO-optimized. And typically, we follow a workflow—from picking your primary keyword to researching SERPs/PAAs to internal and external linking, and everything in between.
Blog Pro is designed to automate this workflow for you.

Head to our blog article template to get started.
Here's a video walkthrough of our Blog Pro workflow, you can also scroll down to read our step-by-step guide.
1. Give AI instructions
Give our AI some context to generate blog title ideas:
Describe your topic: One or two sentences work well. But if you’d like the article to be more tailored, include details like your personal opinion, ideas, etc.
SEO pro mode: Toggle this on to activate our advanced SEO workflow. This includes researching SERP/PAAs, optimizing the article for your primary keyword, automatic linking and activating SEO suggestions at the article stage later on.
Keywords: Add up to 5 keywords and select 1 you’d like to optimize your article for. Our AI will use this throughout your article. The one in purple is the one you've selected.
Add references: You might have documents or links with information you’d like to include in the article. Upload them under 🧠 Knowledge. You can also select Live feed for our AI to reference.
Tone: This is how you want your article to sound. You can choose from a few default options, or customize your tone with our Brand Voice Lite feature.
Once you're done, click "Generate titles" to start generating some creative blog titles. Once done, you can click on the title cards to edit them as you wish.
Optional: Advanced customizations
Under the Advanced customizations section, you can add additional context to help the AI write more targeted content.
Change point of view
Address your readers from a certain perspective.
- First person: The article will be written using "I" or "We"
- Second person: The article will be written using "you"
- Third person: The article will be written using "they"
Adding a call to action
- Describe your audience: Cater the blog post to your target audience. This is helpful if you'd like your audience to take an action, or to add a call to action in the article.
- Describe your brand: Adding this will give the AI information about your business to promote in the article.
- Describe your product or service: Adding this will give the AI information to weave in a specific product or service in the article. You should briefly describe its features and benefits and unique selling points.
Create title
Choose your favorite title and click "Next: create outline" to start generating your article outline.
Already have a title in mind? Use the 'Write your own title' switch to do so.
2. Create outline
Here, you'll see a list of SERPs on the left and an outline on the right.
The outline on the right includes H2s that are already optimized based on top SERPs and PAAs. But if you don't like it, you can click on Generate from SERP to create another outline.
The left side shows top SERPs and PAAs pulled live from the Google search engine. You can expand each of them to see what H2s competitors are using. If you'd like to write about any of them, hover over it and click on "Add to outline".
If you'd like to improve the flow of the outline, just click on the "improve" button under each outline. Our AI will work its magic to improve the coherence. You can also edit the outline directly.
Add your key talking points to guide the AI
You can optionally give the AI guidance by writing additional key points for each heading section.
Click the '+' button to add key points, then type in your point and hit 'Enter' to add the point.
Tips on using key points
- Key points work best as short bullet points.
- Instruct the AI: You can add a key point as an instruction, like "Mention a list of 5 pros and cons in this section"
- Add content to cover: You can add a specific point of content to cover, like "Talk about the great amenities in this museum"
- Add a URL: Include URLs you'd like our AI to reference in real-time
The AI will use any longer key points verbatim, so avoid long key points unless you want a specific quote or sentence to be used.
3. Include factual research and hyperlink sources
Toggle this on to include hyperlinks to your articles automatically. You can manage these hyperlinks to include or exclude specific pages or pages under relevant categories.
Refer to this article for a step-by-step guide on managing links to include.
4. Generate your article
Click "Generate article" to start generating. Our AI will generate an article optimized for the primary keyword you selected in your first step. It'll also take in all your input to create an original article tailored to your preference.
To generate more paragraphs, select the H2 points you want to regenerate and click "Regenerate article".
External links
When your article is generated, our AI automatically inserts external links based on the sources that were included or excluded in the previous step.
5. Optimize with SEO Helper
Now you have a full-length draft, you'd want to give it the best chance at ranking on Google. Use SEO Helper for that.
Click on the button at the top right corner and a sidebar will appear. Here, you'll see the SEO checklist and relevant keywords you could include in your article.
The SEO checklist is based on a set of SEO best practices and the relevant keywords are keyword opportunities based on competitor analysis.
You can learn more about SEO Helper here.
While you implement SEO Helper's suggestions, you can also use Commands to improve parts of your article with the help of AI.
Highlight a word, phrase or paragraph you'd like to refine. Then, choose any of the built-in instructions, such as adding examples, weighing the pros and cons, or rephrasing so it sounds better.
You can also instruct our AI to do what you want with words alone just by typing it in.
6. Discover internal linking opportunities
Once you've finalized your article, it's time to do internal linking. Simply enter your website and click on Find links. Our AI will search your website for pages and specific phrases that you can link from.
